About the Artwork:
Shadow and light articulate how reflections are defined. They create an archeology of layers saturating surreal colors only existing in the reflection. Karen continues to explore her study of "Between Painting and Photography", a study she began in the early 1980's and continues today. This Series embraces the light in London in the early summer, saturating us with the fresh greens of passing spring. Karen engages the viewer on multiple levels, inviting them to participate in her critical and creative thought processes. She leads you into her photography, leaving you to find their own way out, choosing their own path. Details: Digital pigment ink print on Hahnemule high gloss metallic paper.
