About the Artist:
Lisa Kachajian is an American photographer, native New Yorker, and New Jerseyan whose work is deeply influenced by music, painters, and photographers. Born in New York City, and raised in New Jersey, she grew up in a creative and musical environment. Lisa spends her time between music and photography. For the last twenty years working in a recording studio, as a photographer and session vocalist. Since September 2019 making photographs for her photo essay, UpCountry, exploring relationships between farming, cultural traditions, nature, and the land. Lisa's image-making focuses on gestures and the lyrical beauty of the moment.
