About the Artist:
KK Kozik's work has been widely exhibited in the United States and abroad and has been reviewed in publications such as the New York Times, New Yorker, Artforum, Art in America, Art News, Boston Globe, as well as in many others. Kozik’s public commissions include the Rockaway Beach Park subway station for the New York Transit Authority, Fitchburg State University and Weir Farm National Historic Site. She has received numerous awards including a Connecticut State Artist Fellowship, first prize in the New Britain Museum of American Art, annual survey Nor-Easter, the Picotte Prize from the Albany Institute of History and Art, and a Marie Walsh Sharpe Fellowship. She lives and works in Sharon, Connecticut and Brooklyn, New York.
